Abstract

Objectives: To reduce time delays of Engineering Procurement Construction(EPC) projects in the oil and gas industry. Methods: This study used Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) methodology applied in project management. The methodology used starting Prepare for Engineering, Map and Analyze As-Is Process, Design To-Be Process, Re-engineered Process and Improve Continously. Findings:This study resulted an improved project planning using business process re-engineering method with time on engineering phase is reduced up to 55% and the procurement phase with an efficiency up to 35%. Application/Improvements:BPR method should be used in evaluating the delay in project work.

Abstract

Objectives: To determine the spaceport location, and identify the important factors in the selection of spaceport in Indonesia and methods to be used in site selection. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to get the best priority location based on various criteria’s. Findings: The weighting of criteria; Biak is the first choice alternative, the second alternative is Morotai, the third is Pemeungpeuk and the fourth is Enggano. Application/ Improvements: Spaceport selection is important to improve the mastery of high technology in a country.

Abstract

Objectives: Calculate the success factor of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and select recommendation of CRM program as priority in rental and sales of heavy equipment. Methods: This study used four experts who give opinion, which then creates criteria and sub-criteria and develop questionnaires. The created criteria are alternatively developed the second questionnaires. The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods are used to calculate the weights between criteria and CRM program priorities which are to be run. Findings: There are 7 factors of CRM will be implemented for rental and sales of heavy equipment. The priority programs are used for assessing customers. Application/Improvement: Following heavy equipment rental exhibition, twice a year can increase customer loyalty, as part of the CRM program.
